I thought I would post a 6-month update for my latest clinical trial (treatment #8, clinical trial #4). It is going well, even though it seems slow to me. I just had my 6-month checkup where they do a physical exam, a lot of blood tests, and CT scans of my neck, chest and pelvis.
My blood numbers are
dropping by about 25% per visit, which seems like a lot when you say it like
that, but in reality, it is slow going.
The best news about this is that it is DROPPING, which is what you
want. This is not a quick fix treatment,
the goal numbers may not be reached for a year, if at all. The real goal is to have them drop to a
normal range, or at least get them lower and remain stable. All of this is happening.
No real side effects, which is great.
Unless something earthshaking happens in the next 6 months,
I probably won’t post again until my 12-month checkup.
